What should I expect during my first visit to Tinton Falls Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy?

For your first visit for physical therapy in Tinton Falls Orthopedic and Sports Therapy in New Jersey, please arrive at least 15 minutes early to allow us time to set up your file and gather your medical history. Please bring a list of any prescribed or over-the-counter medication you take regularly. Your Doctor of Physical Therapy will spend a full hour with you to conduct a thorough examination and evaluation of your injury or condition, and prescribe a recommended treatment regimen. You can expect to receive your first treatment at that time, so please wear comfortable clothing. Plan to spend at least an hour on your first evaluation and therapy. At the end of that time, the physical therapist will discuss the frequency of your visits and the expected duration of your treatment plan, if it can be known at that time.

Is a prescription required to be treated at your clinic?

No. In fact, greater than 90% of our patients are evaluated and treated at our clinic without a prescription.

Will I need to pay at time of service?

Payment for services or in case of accepted insurances, of any copays or other out-of-pocket expenses is required at each visit. We accept cash, check, and/or credit card.

What are the hours of your clinic?

For your convenience, our clinic hours are as follows:

Monday : 9:00 am – 9:00 pm

Tuesday : Closed

Wednesday : 9:00 am – 9:00 pm

Thursday : 7:30 am – 7:00 pm

Friday : 9:00 am – 7:00 pm
